The network also airs post-game press conferences, special event programming on-location from NHL events such as NHL Winter Classic™, NHL All-Star weekend, NHL Entry Draft, and the Stanley Cup™ Final and its signature daily live highlight show — NHL on the Fly — which airs nightly throughout the hockey season.

2019 TV Rate Increase

Effective: February 1, 2019

Dear LocalTel TV Subscribers,

We are committed to continually improving your TV viewing experience and giving you the very best entertainment possible. In the past year alone, we have added several new networks to our lineup and upgraded over 40 channels to crystal clear High Definition. We also understand that it's not just WHAT our customers want to watch, it's HOW they want to watch, that's important. It's with this mindset that we have unveiled cutting edge TV features like ReStart, CatchUp, unlimited cloud DVR, TV Plus Mobility, WatchTVEverywhere, and several others that allow you to be in total control of your home entertainment experience. We see the costs associated with these improvements as worthwhile investments that ensure you have the award-winning quality of service you've come to expect from LocalTel Communications.

As we make these investments, the networks also continue to raise their broadcast rates each and every year. While we strive not to pass these on to our customers, unfortunately this year, many of the network rate increases — especially those of the local stations (ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX) as well as popular national stations (ESPN, ROOT Sports, Discovery, A&E, Food Network, FX, TNT, USA, and hundreds of others) — have been much higher than what they have been in the past, forcing us to adjust our prices.

Beginning February 1st, the following rates will take effect:

  • Basic Cable Service — $36.95 (increase of $2.00)
  • Expanded Cable Service — $83.95 (increase of $6.00)
  • Digital Basic Tier — $11.95 (increase of $2.00)

All other tiers will not have a rate increase in 2019.

In the coming year, you can expect to see more channels being upgraded to HD while we continue to add new and exciting networks to our lineup. Again, LocalTel is committed to remaining a cost competitive option for your cable TV and we appreciate your understanding.

Please call us at 509-717-7777 if you have any questions regarding this information.

Thank you,

LocalTel Communications Management
